NO MEAT TODAY
Lent. . .Nelly to Nerd, "Let's talk about the things we should give up for lent."
Nerd to Nelly, "Don't you think we've given up enough?"
Nelly to Nerd, "No, we've given certain things up for the wedding that aren't SACRIFICES."
We started out with good intentions:
Alcohol
Soda
Red meat
Chicken
I tried to add coffee to the list buy my nerd nearly had a heart attack at the mere suggestion or it .
Nerd to Nelly: "You're taking away our elixir of life!?"
*okay, he may have not said those EXACT words but you get my drift*
Well, we couldn't last even a day. On ASH WEDNESDAY, we had Taco Bell. :-( We did better yesterday and had Sushi (to celebrate Todd doing well at his Advisory Committee). I guess we should make a post it that says, "NO MEAT TODAY" a la Mom.

i gave up all drinks except for water and herbal tea.. :-( its sooo hard :-(
